Aston Shaw are seeking to alter the way in which the accountancy sector is perceived and have expressed a great deal of interest in becoming a modern, young and vibrant accountancy firm, known for digital innovation. With an aim of becoming a Top 100 accountancy firm within 10 years time, it is essential that Aston Shaw stands out from the competition.
The main challenge associated with achieving Aston Shaw’s goal of being a modern and dynamic firm is that accountancy is a very traditional sector, therefore breaking these boundaries is particularly challenging.
In order to further increase the momentum of Aston Shaw’s growth, fresh and even unconventional ways of thinking are a necessity.
Growth requires innovation. We have achieved this by approaching Aston Shaw’s marketing strategy from all angles. After looking closely at Aston Shaw and evaluating the accountancy sector, we set to work implementing new marketing campaigns and revamping existing brand elements.
We have increased awareness of the brand through targeted PPC campaigns, landing pages and an optimised, responsive and user-friendly website. Our work on Aston Shaw’s website did not go unnoticed – winning two gold awards for Responsive Website and Best B2B website at the Cambridgeshire Digital Awards. Due to the fact that the accountancy sector is very traditional, we have not limited our marketing strategy to purely digital mediums but have included branded print advertising. To this end, Aston Shaw has a regular monthly feature in the EDP Norfolk Magazine for which we create on-brand, bespoke illustrations. We also organised two billboard campaigns, placed in high traffic areas and designed to be tied in with social media promotion.
We have overhauled the design of Aston Shaw’s exhibition set-up, including roll-up banners and graphic wraps. To ensure even their office exemplifies their brand values to staff and clients alike, Aston Shaw tasked us with designing their head office interior graphics – including frosted vinyl for the glass meeting rooms, illustrations of the Norwich skyline for the reception area, and the company aims, ethos and motivational quotes on the walls to name just a few.
All this and much more ongoing work has secured Aston Shaw’s place as the fastest growing accountancy firm in the region.
