Go Fish is a brand new fish and chip shop offering the classic takeaway with a twist. Based just outside of Norwich, Go Fish also offer fresh salads, healthy grilled dishes, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
The owner of Go Fish approached us with his vision for a takeaway with a difference. The new venture needed a name, branding, website and promotional materials to ensure a successful launch.
We began by researching the takeaway and restaurant market both in the local area and UK-wide, keen to think up a catchy name and unique visual identity that would help the shop stand out from the crowd. Cue, Go Fish- a memorable name from which stemmed a maritime influenced logo and colour scheme; a strong identity with a contemporary twist to reflect the snazzy new interiors completed by CentrePlan, a specialist interior design company renowned for breathing life into fish and chip shops since 1991.
With branding in place, we cooked up a one-page responsive website showcasing Go Fish’s delicious menu with a twist. Opening times are now displayed in a neat pop-up and an animated fish with a link to contact information swims down the page, following the user as they scroll (we love details!)
Of course, there’s little point making a business look fantastic if no one knows where it is. We guided Go Fish through to their launch by designing and supplying promotional leaflets and banners, setting up their social media and writing some captivating copy for press releases (whilst keeping the puns to a minimum!) which were accepted into a variety of publications.
