Skills Edge is one of the country’s largest and leading independent training providers – delivering commercial, private and government funded training across a range of industries and sectors.
Having recently undergone a name change, Skills Edge required a new logo, set of printed marketing materials and responsive website to reflect this change and their new direction.
In order to give Skills Edge the complete brand refresh they desired, we had to better understand the business and their target market. After conducting research and identifying key market characteristics, we began working on Skill’s Edge’s new brand image.
Skills Edge is unique in its field and so required a strategic, tailored approach. We created a distinct visual identity by incorporating individuality into the brand, via the use of elements like a bespoke font and energetic, eye-catching colour scheme. We custom-built this font specifically for Skills Edge and it now features on their website, as well as in print.
The new website is one of the more complex websites we have constructed; with a high number of pages and the necessity of features such as a ‘course finder’ meant that the website had to be easily navigable and have an interface that was both clean looking and easy-to-understand for the user.
